Why First-Time Exhibitors Buy From APG
APG Exhibits is a family-owned business that has been supplying trade show displays for more than 50 years. If this is your first booth, you are not going to be handed off to a chatbot — you get a person on the phone who has built booths like yours before.
No credit card fees. The price you see is the price you pay. We do not add a surcharge for paying by card.
Complete booth kits. Hardware, printed graphics and a shipping case in one part number, so nothing shows up missing the week of the show.
Real people, US-based. Call 866.752.2192, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm Eastern.
Displays built to be reused. Reprint the graphic for the next show and keep the frame. It is the cheapest upgrade in the business.

How New Exhibitors Save on Trade Show Displays: FAQs
How can a first-time exhibitor save money on a trade show display?
Buy the booth you actually reserved rather than the one you hope to grow into, and choose a system whose graphics can be reprinted onto the same frame later. Complete kits usually cost less than assembling the same booth piece by piece, and ordering early avoids rush production and expedited freight, which are the two costs that quietly blow up a first-time budget. Joining a supplier's email list is also worth doing, since sale pricing and promotions are typically announced there first.
Does APG Exhibits offer discounts on trade show displays?
We run sales, promotions and clearance pricing at various points through the year, and offers change by season and by product line. The current offers are announced to our email subscribers first, so signing up is the best way to see what is available when you are ready to buy. You can also call us at 866.752.2192 and we will tell you what is running.
Is there a special offer for new customers?
We put together offers for first-time customers from time to time, and what is available depends on the season and on what you are buying. Join the email list above and you will receive our current new customer offer along with future sale announcements.
Do I need a coupon code to get sale pricing?
Not usually. When an item is marked down on our site, the sale price is already reflected on the product page and in your cart. If a promotion does require a code, the email announcing it will include the code and the terms.
Is it cheaper to rent or to buy a trade show booth?
It depends on how often you exhibit. Renting generally makes sense for a single show or an unusually large one-off footprint, since you avoid storage and long-term ownership costs. If you exhibit two or more times a year, buying a portable display usually costs less over a couple of seasons, especially since you can reprint graphics for future shows and keep the same frame.
What hidden costs should a first-time exhibitor budget for?
Beyond the display itself, budget for inbound freight to the show, drayage or material handling charged by the show's general contractor, electrical service if your booth is lit, and return shipping. Rush production and expedited freight are the most avoidable of these, and ordering three to four weeks ahead of your show usually eliminates both. We do not add a credit card surcharge, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
How far in advance should I order my trade show booth?
Three to four weeks before the show is comfortable for most printed displays, and it leaves room to review a proof and make graphic revisions without paying for rush service. Faster turnarounds are possible — call us and we will tell you honestly what your date allows.
